Terms of Service

Version 1 · Proposed effective date:

Using eventanew

eventanew lets hosts collect and share event photos and videos. Hosts agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy at sign-up. Guests accept the terms when they join to contribute. eventanew is for ages 13 and up. Do not create an account or contribute if you are under 13.

Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Hosts are responsible for choosing event access settings and explaining the event to attendees.

Your content and event access

You keep ownership of your content. You give eventanew permission to store, process, resize, transcode and deliver it as needed to operate your event and enforce these terms. Upload only content you have the right to share, including any permissions needed from people depicted.

OPEN events are unlisted public-read: anyone with the event link can view published media and may share the link or save copies. An unlisted link is not a privacy control. Gated and approved-list events restrict access, but cannot prevent an authorized viewer from making copies.

Hosts can moderate event content. You may manage your own uploads while authorized. Content may be published before review unless the host enables approval. Reports and bans reduce abuse but cannot guarantee that all harmful uploads or replacement identities are prevented.

Acceptable use and safety

Do not upload unlawful, infringing, exploitative or non-consensual content; threaten or harass others; impersonate someone; evade access controls; or interfere with the service. Child sexual abuse material is prohibited.

Use Report on an item to notify the host. For platform review, contact support@eventanew.com. We may restrict access, hide or remove content, suspend accounts and respond to lawful requests. Do not download or attach suspected child sexual abuse material to an email.

Plans, payments and availability

The price, billing interval, capacity and time limits shown at checkout govern your purchase. Recurring subscriptions renew until cancelled through billing settings. Event passes and free events have their own hosting and upload windows. Archive does not itself delete stored media.

Stripe processes payments, receipts and payment disputes. Contact support for product or entitlement problems; do not send full card numbers. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or refund rights under applicable law.

The service may be interrupted or change. Keep your own copies of important media and export before a deletion deadline. Interrupted ZIP downloads must be restarted.

Deletion and retention

Event deletion, free-event reset and account deletion can remove content permanently. Account deletion has a 14-day cool-off during which sign-in is blocked; recovery is not promised. Removed media normally enters storage cleanup after a 7-day grace period. Required notices precede scheduled destructive lifecycle operations.

The Privacy Policy explains retention, including security records and legally required billing records. Deletion cannot recall copies others already saved, and lawful preservation obligations can require longer retention.

Copyright notices and designated agent

Send copyright concerns to support@eventanew.com with the subject “Copyright notice”. Identify the copyrighted work, the event and specific material, your contact details, and the basis of your claim. Do not send account passwords or access tokens.

Designated-agent name, postal address, telephone number and Copyright Office registration are pending counsel confirmation before public launch. This intake address does not represent completed agent registration. Counsel must approve the notice, counter-notice and repeat-infringer process.

Changes and contact

Each published revision carries a version and effective date. Major terms changes require renewed acceptance; minor clarifications do not reset acceptance. Contact support@eventanew.com about these terms.
